Joanna shot our wedding at Firestone Vineyard in Los Olivos last weekend. She blew us away. Our bridal party, family and friends were all talking about how great she was -- super efficient, knew exactly how to direct people, and delivered a stunning preview THAT NIGHT. She scouted locations that our planner didn't even know existed on the property, and negotiated access to parts of the vineyard that would typically be off limits. We had a tricky timeline since our ceremony started around 6pm and the sun set at 6:45... and we didn't do a first look. I REALLY didn't want to do a first look despite the limited daylight that would leave us with, and Joanna assured me we could make it work. She was literally RUNNING to make it happen for us, put us in her car and drove us around to chase the light. It was impressive, and we will never forget seeing each other for the first time from the aisle. Joanna was super responsive, quick to hop on the phone or email back about my many obnoxious questions. Absolutely blown away by her professionalism and quality of her work.

Joanna is crazy talented! My husband and I first saw she at our friends wedding, which was like 100° out & Joanna was hustling!! After seeing our friends wedding photos & knowing how hard this girl works, we were sold! It's amazing how she captures the little details to the big details. We booked her for both engagement & wedding. I had surgery before our engagement photos & even with a cast on my hand, she still was able to capture the most beautiful photos! (and it made for a good story!) If you have never taken professional photos before, it can be a little weird & awkward, but Joanna made it extremely comfortable & non-awkward! So, by the time our wedding came around, it felt more like having another one of our friends there than a photographer! She is VERY speedy with getting our photos to us!! We HIGHLY recommend Joanna. We will definitely be using her for future family photos when that time comes around!

Joanna was an amazing wedding photographer and we have the photographs to prove it. She was easy going and professional and adjusted to what we wanted day of the wedding. She was thoughtful when posing photographs and had scouted out the property the day before so she had several ideas of where to do first looks, bride and groom photos, etc. I would most highly recommend Joanna!!
We were referred to Joanna by my brother Kenny who hired her for his wedding so when our big day came around, Joanna already knew all about our family dynamics and had built up a rapport with my parents and close friends. She even came to our Brunch the next morning with her Husband and sat and visited with my relatives. Oh, and did I mention that she did all of this while pregnant!!

There simply are not enough words to describe how amazing Joanna is! Joanna was the photographer for my wedding in June 2017, and she far exceeded any expectations I had. My husband and I met her with before the wedding, and I knew she would be the perfect fit. She is kind, loving, friendly, helpful, honest, and so so talented. The day of the wedding, Joanna and her associate fit right in with our friends and family. Everyone loved her! Throughout the whole day, she was there to make sure every moment was captured perfectly. I was also really impressed at how well she managed time, especially with large families! Seriously, she is amazing! I can't stop looking at all of our wedding photos... They are so beautiful! I can't recommend Joanna enough for your wedding! She will go above and beyond to help you, even if it has nothing to do with photography. She will make you laugh, do everything in her power to get the best shots, and of course will give you the most memorable wedding photos possible. We love Joanna and couldn't imagine having anyone else as a part of our wedding day!

I honestly don't know where to begin. Joanna and her crew are absolutely AMAZING!! We met by fate, and I am so thankful we did. I couldn't imagine my wedding day any differently. She really knows her role, and made my day perfect. She is on top of her work, makes you feel comfortable, has a fun personality, knows how to communicate with large crowds of family chaos, and has great advice. Most of all her photography is absolutely stunning, and she has a true passion and love for what she does, and it shows. We honestly couldn't imagine having anyone else do our photography. It was truly the best day of our lives, and Joanna helped add to that. I would recommend her over and over again!

My fiancé and I were referred to Joanna by a friend of mine and boy, did we hit the jackpot! When deciding which photographer to go with for our engagement photos and wedding, I was unsure until Joanna called me on the phone after reaching out to her online. After talking to her, I just knew her and her team would be the perfect fit for us. She explained the whole process as to what to expect in regards to engagement photo planning, what to expect day of our wedding, exactly how much time is allotted to each step of the day to ensure we get shots of everything we could want/imagine, pricing, etc. She was extremely personable, friendly, and professional. After deciding to book her and her staff, it was straight to planning our engagement photo session. She sent me tons of samples of other couples she had shot at different locations based off of what I had told her I was envisioning. We just received our engagement photos that our main photographer, Niki, took at Little Corona Beach and I cannot stop looking at them. Together with Niki's shooting and Joanna's editing, they were able to perfectly capture my fiancé's and I's personalities and our love for one another. I was so blown away and still am. I absolutely cannot wait for our wedding in October and to see what they capture! If you're unsure who to go with as a photographer for your special event, go with Joanna! I promise you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I have hired Joanna on two separate occasions now and she has exceeded our expectations both times! Her and her team did an amazing job with our wedding photos just over a year ago, and just this week we worked with her again for a maternity shoot. I can't wait until our baby is born so we can have more photos done. Joanna is not only professional and talented, but she's friendly and makes you feel comfortable, which results in amazing photos. I've never considered myself photogenic, and I was so worried before my wedding about how the pictures would turn out, but Joanna knows how to create magic and capture moments that made you look great, and authentic. After working with her, my family and I have found a photographer for life!

Joanna did a great job for my son's wedding. In addition to shooting the wedding day itself, we hired her a few months ahead for our engagement party, as well as the rehearsal dinner and welcome party the day before the wedding. She was amazing and captured all the decor elements as well as posed photos, family groups, and candid shots. She visited the wedding venue ahead of time to discover and plan for the best photo opportunities in order to take full advantage of all it had to offer. She had great ideas and the photos are stunning! We could not be happier - thank you Joanna!

Joanna's team did all photography for my wedding this past year (April 2019) and both my wife and I were very pleased with the job they did. Reasonably priced for exceptional work. Both photographers showed up ready to go with a plan, and did a fantastic job at guiding the wedding party through all the photos. Added bonus that our wedding was at the Heritage Museum and they work there alot, so it made it very convenient that they already knew they layout and best locations for photos. To top it all off, we got our album back in 2 weeks! I would absolutely recommend Joanna and team to anyone looking for wedding photographers!

Joanna and team were absolutely amazing at our wedding on 9/7/2019 at Heritage Museum of OC. We hadn't been able to meet up before the wedding, mostly because we booked her on such late notice ;) But prior to booking her, we had heard a lot about her from our wedding coordinator and our contact at the venue. They had absolutely flooring reviews of Joanna, and let's just say, that everything they said was true. She knew how to take the shots and where to take the shots. You could immediately tell that she was a veteran. Now that we have a sneak peak, my wife and I are so thrilled to see the great composition and clarity of the photographs! I loved how she was able to just roll with the punches and be flexible with the timeline of the wedding. I can't recommend her enough!
