T O N Y + A N N A

You know the saying, size doesn't matter... Well, I never truly believed it until I met this powerhouse couple! What they are lacking in height, they more than make for in passion, love, commitment and just pure happiness!!

Tony & Anna made my heart melt over and over. Traveling to the very Northern tip of the United States for this elopement was an adventure in itself. Driving over 1200 miles up the west-coast to witness their love take shape was well worth it.

If you ever have a week and want an adventure, visit SEQUIM, WA and their surrounding parts. Great seafood, views, hikes and people!!!

J O J O + A N D Y

Kind of had an out of body experience this weekend. I had the pleasure of capturing a lovely wedding full of love, laughter and a bride named Joanna Galindo! Hearing, "Congrats JoJo" and "I'm so happy for you Joanna" all day was so hilarious for me because none of it was aimed at me:)

I will say, Joanna deserved ALL of the compliments that she received yesterday! That Maggie Sottero dress is FIRE!

Oh and did I mention that all of the bridesmaids made their own bouquets! I have to admit, I was a bit worried when I heard what the plan was but they turned out amazing!! Take a lesson ladies... You can do a wedding relaxed and still have it turn out AMAZE-BALLS!!!

Stephanie + Daniel

These two are the cutest! They will be getting married next summer so this is just a sneak peek of what's in store for their love!! Decked out in BCBG, I knew right away that Stephanie had style and Daniel was completely smitten by her! They were so fluid in front of the camera, it was hard to choose my favorites! You can see their elopement images and more from their engagement session by following this link:

Ralph + Monique

I am pleased to announce to you: Mr. & Mrs. Ramos! My first encounter with them was their engagement session at the Cal State Fullerton Arboretum and they were just the cutest couple. Monique has the prettiest, most welcoming eyes and Ralph kept getting lost in them! Their wedding day was picture perfect and you could tell that everyone there really loved them. Oh, and the youngest flower girl let me know she is available for hire if anyone is in need:)

Mike + Mary

So much to say about this couple. I first met Mary at a Bridal show in January and we started talking because I was in love with her zip up high top vans. That led to dinner with Mike at Javier's where we shared a pitcher of margaritas and the rest was history.

Their wedding was one I will never forget. The Heritage Museum was a perfect backdrop for their elegant attire and Mike's groom's speech was unforgettable! It was like a stand-up act. The only wedding in the history of all weddings that I wished I was shooting video so I could replay it over and over. I asked him when his next show was at the Improv!

Trevor + Jamie

Trevor Weeks and Jamie Weeks are the sweetest couple! They were referred by the most regal couple whose wedding I photographed a few years ago and I was so thrilled when I found out Daniela Nieto and Ricky Malott were apart of the bridal party!

The Sherman Library and Gardens were a perfect setting for their special vows and amazing reception. Please enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Brandon Love's Alicia

Their love started out as an innocent friendship 7 years ago. First friends, then a couple, then a family. I love these two souls. They were so easy going and genuine.

Alicia + Brandon

I met these two more than 6 years ago! Brandon was a surf photographer that worked with me and even came to Nicaragua for one of the surf photography workshops I help put on. Needless to say, I have watched him become the man that he is.

I have to say that I started to notice the biggest change in him when he started dating Alicia. The way he spoke about her early on made it apparent how he felt. All of sudden, time stood still and he was at piece! Taking to the little ones right away, I knew they were a great team! I am beyond excited to help preserve their memories today and for their upcoming wedding day!! Congratulations Brandon, Alicia, Xander & Gavin!!

Amanda + Spencer

These two have a very unique story. They met back in 2004 in Confirmation class. There was a spark right from the start. 10 years of dating and they are all grown up and ready to commit to each other forever. With Spencer studying to be a Pastor, it only seemed fit that they get married at the Church that brought them together.

You will go crazy over all of the D.I.Y. crafts that the bride did for this grand affair. She even made her own dress!!

Love you to the Moon!

Seeing Allison Enyart and Brian Moon as guests at a number of weddings, I could tell there was something special about this couple. They were always glowing like it was their wedding day even though they were on the sidelines. When I was contacted by Allison to photograph their wedding, I was beaming almost as much as Allison was on her special day.

Don't forget to scroll down to the end to catch the fire dancing performance and sparkler exit!

Be Sonny & Liv Happy

When my dear friend Sonny told me he was engaged, I was over the moon with excitement! Especially after I saw the proposal pictures. I wanted in! Luckily, Sonny and his fiance Liv, came down for the holidays. We only had one day to pull off these engagement pictures so nothing could stop us; not even HIGH TIDE at Victoria Beach. Thank you to Sonny, Liv and Emma for being such great sports and getting really wet!!

Ronan's Mickey Mouse Cake Smash

Meeting Laura and the fambam has been amazing. It's no wonder this family gets along so well with one of my absolute favorite families, the Nolans. With the styling and props that these ladies bring to each shoot, I cannot wait for the next one we are planning. Stay tuned...

Chad & Rita

It is no question that these two were made from the same mold. Rita and Chad met while attending Art School and their love blossomed just like their careers. Being artists themselves, I was so honored when they chose me to capture their special day. It was one for the books! Getting married at the Pomona College Campus gave us lots of options for vast fields, fun trees and over-sized steps. So, of course, I had to use all of them!

Chad & Rita, thank you for being such great sports as I used you as my little perfect dolls that I got to place in amazing backgrounds. You guys rock!

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Ryan & Jillian Breska

What can I say about this wedding other than, you had to be there! Rancho Santa Margarita is one of my Top 5 venues in California! It was amazing! The light leaks streaming through the barn, the larger than life Oak Trees and OMG, the sunset! It was a perfect setting for Ryan and Jillian to exchange their vows. So in love, you could tell by everything that they did. A comfort level all their own, with a plethora of family and friends cheering them on!

Nolan 5

It's official! The Nolan clan is five and thriving! My first encounter with little Daisy was one for the books. This was our first shoot away from the beach to celebrate Champ's new job as football coach for Lakewood High School. We even had a cameo from some of his star players...

Stacey Naideth and Greg Nelson were just about the cutest thing yesterday. They are so in love and buy does it show. You can see from his Air Force training that he knows when to keep his cool and when to take charge. As a marketing guru, Stacey was the perfect bride/ planner, keeping everyone else calm while looking radiant.

Bali, Indonesia

“Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.”
Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love

Spending 3 weeks in Bali was an experience I will never forget. We had 13 starry eyed students ready to absorb knowledge, suntan lotion and salt water. My exploration with NYC-SVA started about 6 years when I was approached to be the Program Coordinator of their Action Surf Arts Abroad Program. 6 years and 3 countries later and here are the images to show for it.

Daisy is coming...

The Nolan Family is at it again! A photo shoot to welcome their expecting bundle of joy was perfect one week before Valentine's Day! Thank You Taran for being such a wonderful stylist and Thank You Jimmy for always saying yes and taking her styling to the next level with encouragement and a big heart!!
